Is this false advertisement?

i won an auction for a toyota pickup engine from ebay not long ago. it was rebuilt and pretty cheap. so i bid and won it. paid $891 for it including shipping. i am getting it tomorrow. already made the appointment with the shipping company. then the seller contacted me and tells me to pay $289 extra for shipping on top of what i've paid. here's the email:

';hello, just got a call from gator freight, they want an extra 289.92... the weight was estimated at 150.00 lbs, and they say it weighs 450 lbs the engine is in cali, and it is goin to be delivered tomorrow, can you get the difference either to me or to the freight company? which would be easier for you please contact me phone is xxx-xxx-xxxx here at my shop';

i asked her before i bought the motor and she told me the shipping was $200. but when i won the auction it went up to $266 but it was still cheap so i didn't care. now she's asking me to pay more. no way!!Is this false advertisement?
File a dispute with eBay -- The sale/shipping was misrepresented. As was mentioned in another one of your answers, the Seller should have taken better care when quoting shipping. You should not be responsible for the extra shipping, bad enough the shipping was raised once already on you!!!Is this false advertisement?
I would just req. to disolve the sale based on the constantly changes of the deal. Ebay will help you.
I believe that according to ebay ';rules';, they cannot charge you more than what was advertised during the auction unless some sort of disclaimer was in the auction information somewhere.
It is in violation of the Terms of Service of the sale. Contact Ebay and let them know that the seller is violating the terms and ask to be refunded your money immediately.
Another reason not to use e-bay.
Ebay shows you on their web site how to challenge decisions.
Yes, this was false advertising. The person holding the auction should have looked more carefully into shipping costs before posting the ad.
