alright, if someone posts a sign for something missing and they put reward, and you return it and get no reward, is this false advertising, they didnt even offer it...False advertisement??
One of the great things about the USA is that different jurisdictions have different laws.
You must check with an ADA for your county. An ADA is an Assistant District Attorney.
If it is illegal, you can prefer charges. If the people (a legal definition essentially meaning the public) secure a victory, then you can sue in civil court.
As goes the criminal, so goes the civil.False advertisement??
That's not really an advertisement. That's just a missing ad.
