Question about false advertisement?

I was in Circuit City today and seen a table of open box/used electronics. On the table sat a sign that said ';Everything on this table is $200 or less.'; There was a used computer tower that had really good specifications so I asked the price on it and a worker told me that is was $799. Can anyone tell me if I can get it for $200 and how?Question about false advertisement?
It's highly unlikely you're actually going to get that price. They could easily say it was misplaced or something like that. It would be a little different if a sales associate said they would sell it to you for $200 but then tried to charge you the $799 at the check-out stand. Associate may get fired, but I doubt you'd still get the $200 price (maybe $600 instead).

But in this case, the sign (and not an advertisement in the newspaper) was incorrect and the sales associate corrected it by telling you the right price; so there is no false advertising.Question about false advertisement?
No, it was not advertised, only marked. If it was in a printed publication, then yes. Buy the item, keep the publication and reciept and take them to court.
