I ordered a Parmesan Chicken Sandwich for $3.99 at Carl Jr. and they tasted bad.
Plus my chicken was too tough to eat... and my buns were burnt alittle bit...
My $4 sandwich does not look like that picture....
It is so unfair. I want my money back!!!!!!!!!!!!!Why nobody ever sued fast food restaurants for false advertisement?
Did you send it back?
Most restaurants have a policy that if someone is unhappy with the food they get their money back.
Do late now - you have no evidence. You would need a lawyer. Your initial costs would be several times the$4.Why nobody ever sued fast food restaurants for false advertisement?
That's the thing. Whenever you shop at local supermarkets at frozen foods section or see or see TV commercials about the certain foods its not always as it is on the picture. Its computer generated to look appealing. So when you look at the picture and salivate on it -you eventually buy it but soon realize it's not what you though it was...
Only think you can know is this, if you want get real picture food and not throw your money away go to restaurant.
';Good things are not cheap and cheap things are not good';
It is very unfair because I don't think people want to sue for $4. Unless you are obsessed with getting your money back and teaching the restaurant a lesson. To me it would seem awkward getting your money back. They might spit in the food if they ask you if you would like to order something else. It backs you into a corner.
Food advertisements are usually not what they actually look like due to them trying to make the food look perfect. Take Taco Bell for example. Their burritos look huge, stuffed and perfect on the commercials but in real life they look like plain burritos.
The Wendy's nearby me smashes their burgers and has 1 lil piece of tomato and the lettuce looks like cabbage and yet they look perfect on t.v. It's ridiculous. I don't want one little tiny burger for 4 dollars when I can have 4 home cooked, huge and awesome tasting burgers for 12 dollars(I wouldn't eat 4 burgers in a row but you get what I mean). They fill the drinks up with half ice and half soda. Waste of money and their burgers lack in taste.
Sonic and Burger King do a good job of selling as advertised, at least where I go to. BK is my favorite. In n Out have good burgers even though I've never seen an advertisement for them so I can't compare.
I went to Dairy Queen a while back and I ordered a cup of ice cream chocolate something. It looked pretty big on the screen but it wasn't when I got it. I thought to myself ';Wow this is really small.';
I ordered chicken tenders at Applebee's that were SUPER small for the price of 10$. Now I order asiago chicken. It's soooo good.
Sorry for rambling. Hope you read it all because it took me 30-45 minutes to think of all this stuff, type it and correct it. I've got the time so why not?
Gonna go eat some home cooked sirloin burgers. I'm serious lol.
no i don't think you should sue, but i always wonder that why does it look so good on t.v. or on the box but looks terrible when you get it? but that's the point they make the food look so great on t.v. or on the box at the store so people will want to buy it cause they think it's large portioned, and will be tasty but it's not what you expect it to be, the whole point of it is to make people want to buy it and they do. besides if everybody could do that, every fast food restaurant would be being sued and broke.
You can probably refund it, damn I wish there was carl Jrs here
Then ask for your money back. Duh...
