In adverts, the food looks mouth-watering, but when you actually come to buy the stuff, it turns out to be a messShould fast food chains be sued for false advertisement?

Yes, they should be sued for the reason you give. And also because surely it's against the Trades Description Act to call the food ';fast';. The service in those places is anything BUT fast. Atrociously slow, I'd call it.

I TOTALLY agree with you! You see the advertisement, WANT IT JUST LIKE PICTURED, but when you get the actual food, it looks NOTHING like the pic...LOL This is too much! I am with you if you start a class action suit!

I totally agree with you - and I know it's an advertising ploy - but I get SOOOO disappointed when I get my order and, as you said it looks a mess. :(
If they made it look and taste as wonderful as what they say is, then nobody would be rushing out and wasting money on it. Also, the ';food'; isn't as healthy as what they claim either. Sure, Subway's sandwhiches MIGHT have less fat than McDonald's. However, Subway's sandwhiches are still loaded with sodium and they still use white bread. Taco Bell also claims to be Mexican, but it's nothing but.

Well, YES! I would sue them for trying to sell you this HUGE MOUTH-MELTING BURGER and then giving you this little burger you can barely enjoy...not only it's a mess, everything is all over, but it's not the same size!....and I think it would taste better if I ate the one on the picture...than the one they're giving me....LOL
no, that's not misleading, it is perfectly possible for it too look like that but they just dont bother, im sure if you asked them to prepare it like the one on the ad they would, they would also probably spit in it!
I agree!! When you see a picture in a mgazine or tv of a burger,it loks thick,with nice green lettuce,you can actually see evrything on it and it looks perfect.If you go buy one it is flat and pathetic looking.
YES...I hate when they make the food or ice cream look big on tv but then when you go to buy it its all small. That pisses me off.
Yes sue them....... I went to Wendy's for a sandwich they promoted it looked Delicious,..the sandwich I received was horrible, I told the manager and he just shrugged his shoulders,....so I went in and told him if he didn't give me my money back I was going to choke him to sleep,.......I was promptly refunded.... by the district manager who just came out of the restroom......guess who I saw at Burger King when I drove up to get my Whopper two weeks later.....Mr.Manager......I promptly drove off...
